No meter how modern you want you interior to be, you can always use details such as this clock to make it look "warm inside". It's well known, how old and vintage pieces in interior, especially those made of wood, and looking massive can turn "cold looking" spaces into "warm looking".
And by "warm look" I consider that pleasant and safe feeling of freedom when you're at home.
